Integrated Circuits and Systems

We study and develop circuit techniques to generate and analyze sinusoidal signals and electrical pulses on-chip.  Currently, CMOS oscillators are studied for broadband tunable sinusoidal signal generation.  CMOS six-port is investigated and developed for frequency domain signal measurement and analysis.  We also study and develop on-chip pulsed power technologies to generate high-voltage, high-power electrical pulses (including THz pulses).  We analyze time domain signals by developing high-speed analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) that are based on CMOS transmission lines.  Additionally, we study other CMOS devices, such as CMOS PIN diodes, for system on chip integrations.
